§ 19-124. Parking in front yard and/or side yard of any real property prohibited.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful to park a motor vehicle in the front yard and/or side yard, (if the property is located on a corner lot) of any real property which is zoned residential under the city's zoning ordinance or used for residential purposes except where a concrete, paved stone or gravel driveway is provided.

    (b)

    All properties zoned residential under the city's zoning ordinance or used for residential purposes must be brought in to compliance with the off street parking section of the city's zoning ordinance.

    (c)

    The penalty for violation of this section upon conviction shall be a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) plus all costs of court for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
